Traditions in our Independence day celebration

Hello my bloggers again today I will talk about my family´s traditions on Independency Day here in Chile 18 of September. With my family we usually stay at home doing a barbecue the whole day and other times we visit my aunt who lives nearby and have a large party all together. There and in my house we eat a lot of meat, tipically "abastero, costillar, prieta, choripanes, huachalomo" and drink beers for example "chicha, ponche, and the classic terremotos" that is pretty much the menu for those days. There I share with my three cousins Sebastian, Ignacio and Daniel along with my uncle Ricardo, we play football and go to haul volantines that is tradition in my country, I personally am not too good at it, but still it is always fun to watch. We do not go to fondas because we find them really tiring and there is always a lot of people so we do not like it, but this year I went on my own to check them out and ended up thinking the contrary, I dance cueca a few since I am kinda shy but I always am ready just in case that is all for today take care.
